Boooo! Happy Halloween!

Hi, everyone. Sofia continues to grow and amuse us. She insists on walking up and down the staircase in our house on her two feet, and does it well even though we are always concerned something may happen. She imitates the sounds of words, and we are thinking that any day now she will start talking. She insists on climbing into her high chair by herself, and does it quite well. On the way out, we always give a hand. She is definitely the climber, outdoorsy type of girl! She hikes up the full-sized slide in the backyard to then turn around and slide down. When she falls, she hardly whimpers. Amazing how tough she can be!

Halloween was interesting. She was a bit taken back by Alex and Dominique's costumes, and when it was time to put hers on (she went as a Tigress Princess), she was not a happy camper and cried. Eventually we got it on, painted some whiskers on her face, and off trick-or-treating we went. She went up to people's doors with the kids and started to enjoy receiving the candies. She would put them in her tiny basket and move on to the next door. At some point a shoe was lost, but that didn't stop her.

Eventually all she wanted was to eat one and stay in the car while the kids ran around collecting their 'treasure'. It was really cute to watch and we look forward to next year's Trick-or-Treating adventure!




Shoe? Who needs shoes?? What's important is getting the candy!!
